I visited this temple at Navratri Vegetarian Festival. Navratri– Hindu Festival, a festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu deity Durga. The word Navratri literally means nine nights in Sanskrit. The Hindu festival of Navaratri is an event that takes on spectacular proportions in Bangkok, Thailand. During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Shakti/Devi are celebrated at the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple but it’s often referred to as Wat Khaek in Thai located on Silom Road.
