My Walking Story :

Today I am going to describe my day three, on the third day I and my friend decide to get back to Paro from Punakha. As we want to stay for a single day in Punakha and the next day to return to Paro, so we completed our breakfast in the morning in the resort and went out to walk nearby.

I clicked a few pictures of surrounding beauty including the resort’s view and overall view of Punakha. One can check the pictures on my blog page as the place is amazing in its beauty, I can’t get enough of its lovely beauty of nature. The name of the resort was Meri Puensum Resort, this lovely resort: Meri Puensum was established in 1999, is one of the first resorts to come up in the serene and culture-rich valley of Punakha. We attach immense importance to the comfort and safety of our guests and making they stay a satisfying experience. While I must say that Punakha offers a stunning panoramic view of Himalayas Mountain ranges. I love walks through stunning valleys, spas surrounded by other-worldly scenery, and plenty of local cultures to immerse myself in.

After being done with breakfast and exploring the surrounding areas we all got ready and set off for Paro and while returning to Paro we again stop at Dochula Pass. We went to another side where coffee shops were there. Visit the tranquil 108 chortens which is also known as Druk Wangyal Chortens. I capture the pictures as I could not stop myself from capturing such a stunning view. While on the way of returning we saw a beautiful river, so I took pictures of that as well. I was feeling happy and such a positive vibe was felt by me at the place. I wish this trip doesn’t get over and my eyes just love the beauty of these eco-friendly places of Bhutan.

We stop at the riverside and was enjoying the sound of waves, the chirping of birds, and observing nature’s beautiful creation. I was feeling calm and compose over here as if this place has any magic in it, a peaceful atmosphere. After spending some quality time at the riverside, we reach Paro.

My travel tourism friend has booked the hotel for us at Paro, so we check-in over there and in the evening, there was a cultural show that used to take place, it was already booked for us along with dinner. After done with the check-in process we took the rest for a couple of hours and then the plan was to attend the cultural show and dinner. We went to attend the cultural show in the evening, the atmosphere was calm and there was not much audience, only a few were there including all of us. We all enjoy the show and dance with them, while I haven’t posted a photo or video of it plus, we order a beer in drink and had lots of fun in the evening time.

They were singing in Bhutanese way and my ears were liking it and then after we proceed to have our mouth-watering dinner, I love the food. It was a happy hour for me and love the cherish such memories. Moreover, the Dzong is the main attraction, but there are also other sites of interest in and around this pleasant little town. Along with Paro and Jakar, Punakha completes the triangle of most popular tourist destinations. Majestically standing on an island between the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, the city’s dzong is one of the most photogenic of all Bhutan’s ancient fortresses, and you will see pictures of it hanging in hotels and restaurants throughout the country. The dzong is joined to the mainland by an arched wooden bridge and contains many precious relics from the days when successive kings reigned the kingdom from this valley. The dzong serves as the winter home of the monastic body.

I like that I experience Bhutan’s unique culture along with its spectacular Himalayan scenery which I captured into images for never forgetting such a lovely view and time I spend over here and walking in valleys. Being a fun-loving person, I wasn’t getting disappointed at Paro! There are cafes, restaurants, museums, and places of nature hiking that will certainly keep me engaged throughout my trip. while visiting Paro throughout summer will give one a chance to travel the recesses of the city of Paro also appreciate the marvelous view of the landscapes at the backdrop of the sparkling white Himalayas.  Throughout this time the atmosphere is mild plus suitable for adventurous activities. But if one wants snow on vacation then winter should be the most superior season. So, these was a few things I experienced over here, so I felt to share with you, this was the end of my third day over here. Thank you!
