Flying by Air Asia

Arrival in Da Nang
Our day commenced with an early morning AirAsia flight from Bangkok, landing at Da Nang International Airport around 12:30 PM. After smoothly clearing immigration, we proceeded to collect our pre-arranged motorbike, our chosen mode of transport for the next four days.

A Vegan Delight at Kurumi
Before setting off, we indulged in a delightful vegan lunch at Kurumi, a charming eatery in Da Nang. The meal provided the perfect nourishment for the journey ahead.

The Ride to Hội An
With our appetites satisfied, we began our motorbike journey to Hội An, approximately 50 kilometers from Da Nang. Along the way, we encountered a sudden downpour, prompting us to purchase raincoats to continue our ride comfortably. The scenic route, despite the rain, offered glimpses of Vietnam’s picturesque landscapes.
Check-in at Little Town Villa
We arrived in Hội An around 5 PM and checked into the Little Town Villa, a cozy accommodation that would be our home for the night. After a brief rest, we set out to explore the enchanting streets of Hội An.

My Motorbike Journey from Da Nang to Hoi An
Instead of taking a bus or taxi, I chose to ride a motorbike from Da Nang to Hoi An. The feeling of freedom and the ability to stop wherever I wanted made this journey special.

Evening Exploration in Hội An
Our evening began with a leisurely stroll through the Hội An Market, where the vibrant atmosphere and array of local goods captivated our senses. We then enjoyed refreshing cocktails at the Bubble Bar, immersing ourselves in the town’s lively nightlife.
A highlight of the evening was a serene 20-minute boat trip along the Thu Bồn River, offering a unique perspective of Hội An’s illuminated waterfront. The gentle sway of the boat and the shimmering reflections of lanterns on the water created a magical experience.
We concluded our night with a visit to the Hội An Night Market, where we savored local delicacies and soaked in the vibrant ambiance before returning to the Bubble Bar for a delightful dinner.

Why Choose a Motorbike for This Journey
Traveling by motorbike gave me the freedom to explore at my own pace. Unlike buses or taxis, I could stop for photos, enjoy a coffee break, or explore hidden spots along the way.
