Last day of our trip in Bhutan , took some pictures from hotel balcony and visited local market.
Started the hike in morning 9 am and finished 4 pm. It’s difficult and dangerous hike during rain.
After breakfast Drive towards Paro via Thimphu. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan until the 1960’s, and still retains the serene atmosphere of a place with a regal past.
Thimphu to Punakha : Distance: 71 km & estimated driving time: 2 ½ hours. Drive over the DochuLa pass (3140m) in the morning. On clear weather, we can see around 200 miles of Himalayan summits bordering northern Bhutan.
5 days 4 nights trip to Bhutan from 1st June’18 to 5th Jun’18. I visited Paro, Thimphu, Punakaha & Tiger Nest.
