Tiger Temple, or Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua, is a Theravada Buddhist temple in western Thailand that was founded in 1994 as a forest temple and sanctuary for wild animals, among them several tigers, the majority of which are Indochinese tigers. The tiger temple is located in the Saiyok district of Thailand’s Kanchanaburi province.
Floating market is famous in Thailand, especially at Damnoen Saduak situated about 130 km southwest of Bangkok. A popular day trip from Bangkok is possible…you can combine with visits to Rose Garden Thai Village, Elephant Ground & Crocodile Farm or the Bridge of River Kwai in Kanchanburi!

I visited THONG PHA POM, KANCHANABURI, THAILAND on 6th November 2010.
It is about 159 kms away from Kanchanaburi on route 323. There are a lot of natural attractions worth visiting such as Pha Tat Waterfall, Hin Dad Hot Springs etc. It places a lot of National Parks and the World heritage The Yai Naresuan Sanctuary Park is located in this district as well. Beside limestone waterfalls, which are the major attractions in the area, an overnight stay in comfortable resorts or raft-house also offer a relaxing holiday for visitors.
