31st Dec 2017 / New Year Trip to Koh Samed Island, Thailand. Only a three-hour drive from Bangkok and about 45 minutes by ferry from Ban Phe Pier (Rayong) on the mainland, the island is usually packed with visitors on weekends and long holidays.
This was my first trip to Pattaya, Rayong, and Koh Samed on 02 Feb 2004.
