Every season in Bangkok tells a different story. Bangkok is more than just a city for me—it’s where everyday moments become lasting memories. Between September and December 2022, I explored different parts of Bangkok, enjoyed local food, met friends, attended events, and captured countless moments that made this period special. This photo diary shares some of my favorite memories from the last four months of 2022 while experiencing everyday life in Thailand’s vibrant capital.
On Day 4 of our journey, we embarked on a half-day excursion to the illustrious Wat Arun Temple in Bangkok, Thailand, during July 2022. This iconic landmark, renowned for its stunning architecture and rich cultural significance, offered an enlightening glimpse into the country’s spiritual heritage. Our visit was marked by a profound appreciation for the intricate designs and serene ambiance that characterize this remarkable site. Overall, the experience was both enriching and memorable, contributing significantly to our understanding of Thailand’s historical and cultural landscape. In July 2022, I embarked on a half-day excursion to Wat Arun, the iconic “Temple of Dawn,” situated along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Despite the sweltering heat, the temple’s intricate architecture and serene ambiance made the visit truly memorable.
Wat Arun, officially known as Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan, is a prominent Buddhist temple located in the Bangkok Yai district. The temple’s name is derived from Aruṇa, the Hindu god representing the radiations of the rising sun. Its central prang, symbolizing Mount Meru from Hindu cosmology, is flanked by satellite prangs dedicated to Phra Phai, the wind god.
Wat Pho Temple Bangkok is one of the most peaceful and iconic temples I visited in Thailand. Famous for the giant Reclining Buddha, beautiful chedis, traditional Thai architecture, and deep spiritual atmosphere, Wat Pho is a must-visit place for anyone exploring Bangkok’s cultural side.
While many visitors come to the area for the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market, Chatuchak Park offers a completely different experience. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, lakes, walking trails, and shady trees, this spacious public park is the perfect place to relax, exercise, or enjoy a peaceful break from Bangkok’s busy streets. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or exploring solo, Chatuchak Park provides a refreshing escape in the heart of the city.
16th June 2021 / I Visited Erawan Museum in Bangkok, Thailand. It is well known for its giant three-headed elephant art display. Location near Erawan BTS station.
Museum is known for its massive 3-headed elephant sculpture, plus cultural & religious artifacts. In the heart of Bangkok’s vibrant landscape lies a hidden gem that seamlessly blends art, history, and spirituality—the Erawan Museum. My half-day trip to this architectural marvel turned out to be a journey into Thai culture and mythology, leaving me awestruck by its beauty and symbolism.
13th February 2021 / I visited Safari World on 13th Feb 2021. Safari World is a tourist attraction in Bangkok, Thailand that consists of two parks named Marine Park and Safari Park.
Visiting Safari World Bangkok was one of the most exciting experiences of my trip. From watching fun animal shows to driving through the safari park, I had a full day of laughter, surprises, and unforgettable memories.
23rd January 2021 / I visited SEEN Rooftop Restaurant & Bar Bangkok, Thailand. This is one of the riverside rooftop restaurants in the Avani Hotel on the 27th floor.
29th November 2020 / I Visited Bang Peng Tai Temple. It’s located in Ramkhamhaeng soi 187, Min Buri, Bangkok 10510, Thailand.
