Wat Pho Temple Bangkok is one of the most peaceful and iconic temples I visited in Thailand. Famous for the giant Reclining Buddha, beautiful chedis, traditional Thai architecture, and deep spiritual atmosphere, Wat Pho is a must-visit place for anyone exploring Bangkok’s cultural side.

11th November 2019 / I visited Wat Saket Golden Mountain Temple (Phukhao Thong) in Bangkok, Thailand on the day of the Loy Krathong Festival. The nearest MRT station is “Samyot” just an 800-meter walking distance.
Loi Krathong takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar, thus the exact date of the festival changes every year. In the Western calendar, this usually falls in the month of November.
At Golden Mountain Temple

On a quiet evening stroll near the city’s busy districts, I found Wat Hua Lamphong Temple — a serene Buddhist temple where the energy shifted instantly from honking traffic to gentle temple bells and peaceful prayer spaces. This temple isn’t just a religious site; it’s a moment of quiet in Bangkok’s nonstop pace, and one of my favorite places to slow down and observe how local daily life merges with spirituality.
19th May 2017 / I visited Wat Thepleela temple in May’17. This temple was founded by Chaophraya Bodindecha (Singh Singhasenee). He was a great commander during the reign of King Rama III. Located near Ramkhamhaeng University.
