12 September 2026 | Wilderswil – Grindelwald – Grindelwald First to Bachalpsee Lake Trek
Switzerland has many beautiful mountains and lakes, but some places become memorable not just because of their beauty, but because of the journey it takes to reach them.
On 12 September 2026, our sixth day of the Europe trip, we planned one of our longest and most physically demanding days in Switzerland. Starting from our peaceful Airbnb in Wilderswil, we travelled by train to Grindelwald, took a gondola up to Grindelwald First, experienced the famous First Cliff Walk, and trekked to the stunning Bachalpsee Lake.
It was a day filled with sunshine, mountain views, countless photographs, tired legs, and beautiful memories.
