Just walk around in Dehradun and get together with friends and family members. In recent years Dehradun has changed a lot.
Weddings in India vary according to the region, the religion, the community, and the personal preferences of the bride and groom. Enjoy Indian Wedding Moments. Check out some images on our Indian Wedding Day.
The Indian Wedding cocktail party is one such pre-wedding event that has, in recent times, become a staple function in many Indian weddings. At this one, you can prepare for much revelry and dancing as it isn’t associated with any rituals. It’s one of the functions that is specifically for having a good time.

An Indian Wedding Mehndi day party is the pre-wedding celebration in Hindu and Sikh culture when the bride has the red-orange mehndi “stain” applied to her palms, back of her hands, and feet. Typically held the day before the wedding, the event often has a lounge feel, with colorful pillows.

Diwali Festival
I always visit India once a year. So my this Dehradun Trip was on 13th Nov 2007 To Celebrate Diwali Festival with family.
Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights with its variations also celebrated in other Indian religions. It symbolises the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance”
On the 17th Dec 2007 morning, we started our day trip to the Taj Mahal with my mother.
The Taj Mahal is widely considered one of the most beautiful buildings ever created. The exquisite marble structure in Agra, India, is a mausoleum, an enduring monument to the love of a husband for his favorite wife. It’s also an eternal testament to the artistic and scientific accomplishments of a wealthy empire.
My Dehradun trip was on 15th Dec 2006. Also traveled to Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, Delhi, and Agra in the winter season.
Six months have passed by working in Bangkok and the major difficulties I was facing were of Thai language and food, still, I do not get used to food over there. All I use to do that after my breakfast I skip my lunch but for a long time I could not handle this so I thought of trying chicken and went to KFC restaurant for that, for the first time I tried chicken over there.
Then slowly I get used to it along with MC Donald and pizza as well. Frequently I started having these food items in my dinner as well, I still have less food during my lunchtime as still I don’t understand the Thai language nor even, I have any idea about their food items. The third issue with me was when I went out for lunch with my colleagues and they always order on my behalf so I never felt the need of learning the Thai language as with them I talk in English nor there was any need of exploring Thai food or anything related to it, so it became my comfort zone and just wanted to be in my world.
Time was passing like that only, but whenever I think of going back to India, it makes me panic such as I might not lose all this fun and the way I am living in Bangkok. So, I always use to ignore whenever my boss asks me to visit India and reply to him that I will visit after a year.
