In July 2023, I embarked on a memorable journey to Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand. Our day began early, waking at 6:30 am to reach the dam by 7:30 am. We purchased tickets for a two-hour long-tailed boat tour, priced at 200 THB per person.

I took a trip to Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam, one of the most popular attractions in Nakhon Nayok. Surrounded by mountains and greenery, the dam offered beautiful scenic views and a peaceful escape just a few hours from Bangkok.

The dam, a massive contemporary concrete structure, offers sweeping views and is a testament to modern engineering. Visitors can walk across it to fully appreciate its grandeur.

Our boat trip included two 40-minute stopovers, allowing us to explore the serene surroundings and immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the area.

Day 1 –  We back in the city around 6 pm. During my trip to Chachoengsao, I explored the Bang Pakong River, a peaceful and scenic river that flows through the province. The calm waters, beautiful surroundings, and local culture made my visit to Bang Pakong River Chachoengsao truly memorable.

Spent some time near the Bang Pakong River and then had dinner in Chachoengsao. This river, one of Thailand’s major waterways, originates in Prachinburi Province and flows through Chachoengsao before emptying into the Gulf of Thailand.
