Central Ladprao is one of Bangkok’s oldest and most established shopping malls, but don’t let that fool you—it has been fully renovated and feels modern, organized, and very “local Bangkok lifestyle.”

Opening the doors of luck with these blessed hands.
5 April 2026
During my recent exploration around Nonthaburi, I visited Wat Salali, a peaceful and lesser-known temple near Bangkok. Away from crowded tourist spots, this hidden place offered a calm and authentic glimpse into everyday Thai spiritual life.

Fitness journey in Bangkok 2026

If 2025 was about starting, then 2026 is about refining.

Living in Bangkok, I didn’t change everything—I improved what was already working. Walking, running, and regular workouts became more structured, more consistent, and more focused on long-term results.

Places like Chatuchak Park are no longer just part of my routine—they define it.

500 KM done in 2026. The journey continues.

My Fitness Journey in Bangkok (2026) 10

Still staying consistent with 8,000+ steps every day with some strength training, even with a packed schedule — now at a total of 430 km covered this year.

Today 7 KM Walk + 5 KM Non Stop Run (40 Min)

My Fitness Journey in Bangkok (2026) 12

Every city has that one place where everything slows down—and for me in Bangkok, it’s Chatuchak Park.
Between work, routine, and daily responsibilities, this park has become more than just a fitness spot. It’s where I walk, run, exercise—and most importantly—stay consistent.

Today after long time 5 KM non stop slow pace run in 40 minutes 👊 very very hot and sweaty.

300 KM — Done. Today I crossed 300 kilometers of walking in 2026. No marathon. No big event. Just small daily decisions… repeated again and again.

I’ve been going to this open gym for 5+ years.

Pricing is beautifully dangerous: 20 THB/day or 1000 THB/year. Choose wisely.. 🤭😁

No shortcuts. Just 8,000 steps a day — and 165+ km done in Jan’26.

My Fitness Journey in Bangkok (2026) 16

In 2025, I accomplished 1565+ KM. @ average of 8000 steps per day. In last 2 days same as well. Consistency is always the best teacher.

While visiting Union Mall, I decided to walk into Ladprao Soi 1—and honestly, I didn’t expect much. But within a few steps, the street completely changed. Small food stalls, local eateries, and the smell of freshly cooked Thai food filled the air. It turned into one of those simple but memorable Bangkok experiences.

While exploring the quieter side of Bangkok, I had lunch at Hidden Backyard Cafe in Nonthaburi. Tucked away inside a small lane near Chaengwattana, this place feels less like a cafe and more like a hidden garden where you can slow down, relax, and enjoy good food away from the city rush.
